Finally an Update!

Last weekend we were able to go to Madikwe Game Park in South Africa. The Big 5 are Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino, and Buffalo. We saw all of these animals except for the Leopard on our game drive.

We saw many animals, but the giraffe were my favorite. These giraffe were so close to us - these 3 were playing the whole time we watched them!

This is my dance class. Every Tuesday night we have dance and children of all ages come!

Hello friends and family! I know it has been forever since I've updated, but better late than never. :) Things have been busy here in Palapye, Botswana as Crystal, Emily, and I have settled into village life. We've each begun ministries with our church and at our schools. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming and we're really being immersed in the culture. Please continue to pray for the people of Botswana. As we are counseling students after school, it is obvious that these students and their families need Jesus. Several students have come to know Christ over the past weeks and many more have expressed an interest in knowing more about God. Pray that we will continue to have opportunities to share God's love with these students. I just want to say thank you to all of you who have been praying, keeping in touch, and encouraging me along the way! This week marks 2 months that I've been in Botswana and I can definitely feel your prayers! Keep it up and keep in touch! Love you!
