Water and Wisdom

Hello friends and family - it's been awhile! I hope all of you had a Merry Christmas and are looking forward to an excellent new year. As you can see below, we had a wonderful vacation. The beaches were beautiful and it was amazing to see so much water after a year in Botswana! Thank you for praying for us as we traveled across 3 countries over 3 weeks - God definitely had his hand of protection and provision over us. Now as we return to Palapye tomorrow, pray that we would have wisdom and that we would daily seek God's guidance as we begin new ministries. During prayer retreat (an annual meeting among missionaries in our region), we studied the book of James in our personal reflection time and God laid some verses on my heart. As you pray that we would have wisdom, keep these verses in mind. Thank you!

But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness.
