The Unshakable Kingdom

“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our ‘God is a consuming fire.’”

Hebrews 12:28-29

We spend so much time consumed with earthly things that are temporary and worthless when, through Christ, we are ‘receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken.’ My prayer is that I would spend my last months in Botswana on the things that are eternal – the things that lead to the spreading of the unshakable kingdom. And that I would be thankful and worship my Lord with the reverence and awe that is His due.
