Finally a Vacation!

Hello everyone! We've had a busy few weeks as usual. The last week in July we were able to take our first vacation to Chobe National Park in the northern part of the country. We went on several game drives and a boat tour of the park and saw tons of animals. We even saw elephants crossing the road on the way to Chobe! We returned from our vacation and finished our last week of school and held some assemblies at Radisele CJSS about 45 minutes from Palapye. All the while, Em's family was visiting from Virginia. They had a great time and we enjoyed hanging out with them - made me miss my family! A big thank you goes out to Mrs. Weaver for all of her cooking, cleaning, and dish washing - she spoiled us!

Next week we will head to a village near Francistown for Youth Rally - a youth camp for all of the Baptist youth in Botswana. Keep this rally in your prayers - we have many youth from Palapye who are attending and we pray this will be a time of spiritual growth for them. The week after youth rally, we are heading north to Maun to visit some career missionaries and a couple of nights of camping.
