Catching Up

On Friday, I met up with an old friend at our Alma Mater - Elon University (although it was still Elon College when we graduated)! Dawn and I hadn't seen each other since graduation, a little over 6 years ago, so there was lots of catching up to do! Dawn and her husband, Mike, have triplet boys who are around 18 months old - they are so adorable (as you can see from the pictures below)! They live in New Jersey, but are in North Carolina for several weeks getting a special magnetic treatment for the boys. They have been diagnosed with PVL which is a condition that leads to Cerebral Palsy and Dawn says she has seen some improvements from the treatments already. Dawn was also recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, so things have been rocky for their family over the past two years. The awewome thing is the way Dawn and Mike are facing these challenges head on with such a positive attitude! The boys are so beautiful and seeing Dawn and Mike interact with them was such a blessing to me. Please pray for Dawn, Mike, Matthew, Tyler, Zachary and their family as they have some hard times ahead. Pray that God would work in their lives and continue to bring them blessings.
